TOTALLY AMAZING GLASS!! is an “in-your-face” interactive hot glass experience. All the elements of studio glassworking are set up on your stage, in your schoolyard, at your convention, gallery opening, craft fair, wine festival or private party. British Columbia’s most skilled glassblowers demonstrate over two thousand years of technique using molten glass from an electric furnace reheated in a gas fired glory hole. Wine glasses, vases, paperweights, perfume bottles, bowls, flowers and plates appear before your eyes in the space of ten to twenty minutes. A live commentary and audience participation complete each unique show.

Since its inception at Science World in 1998, audience response has been tremendous. The show can travel around BC and includes instructional workshops for complete beginners. Your local school, art college, museum, community centre or church group could profit from a visit by Totally Amazing Glass!! For the past nine years, Circle Craft’s Christmas market at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre has included up to fourteen guest artists in its TAG show.
